Chinese is so frustrating sometimes. I think that I know a character and all of its meanings but then I read a sentence using a relatively simple character in a completely different way than I originally thought possible. Learning Chinese has really taught me how to be more patient. I've been learning it for almost 8 years, sometimes studying intensively and other times hardly at all, but at times I still feel like a beginner. Still, I enjoy the challenges that learning Chinese provides. It really has forced me to develop and improve various personal weaknesses.
