I'm not sure exactly what form or direction my research is going to take. I've been thinking about further exploring 词法 and its place in teaching Chinese. I just need more direction and look at some more resources.
我也觉得词法是很好的研究话题，昨天的报告让我想到“如果你教高中学生你会怎么解释， 把你中文说的翻成英文吗？" 还有一个我认为很实用的题目是统计并整理一些”翻译、解释不周全的中文生词的英文解释“并分析为何如此，如何直接影响学生的病句。这样不但探讨了词法也检视了许多其他问题。看看Jerome Lee Packard's The Morphology of Chinese （构词法）Year 2000.
